Reality is...what? #ThreeShots☕️📚😇
Brain exploding, word nerdiness, and St. Maria Crescentia Höss
Wait, what day is it? Post-Lent Tuesday, right? 😉1
1. What if reality is just an interface?
I listened to this episode of the After On podcast last week and have been mulling on the question of what reality is—and might be—ever since.
That mess on the floor? My brain exploded.
2. Word nerds, unite!
So…I clicked New word (you KNOW I did).
I couldn’t resist.
Your turn. (And DO share!!!)
3. Saint of the Day: St. Maria Crescentia Höss
In the town where she grew up, Anna Höss was known as the “little angel.” Her goal in life was to enter the convent, but because her parents were poor and didn’t have the dowry, she was denied admittance.
Eventually, she did get admitted, thanks to the intercession of the town’s Protestant mayor. She took the name Maria Crescentia. Unfortunately, the sisters mistreated her for a while in the beginning.
Maria Crescentia faced physical challenges from the beginning: from headaches and toothaches to being completely crippled.
Her feast day is April 5; she died on an Easter Sunday.
Prayer for today: Pray for us, St. Maria Crescentia, that we will remain resilient in our determination to do what our heart tells us. 🙏
Have a lovely Tuesday!
Blessings and coffee,
Sarah
Before you lecture me about it being Easter Tuesday…
